👋 About Me
Hi! I am a Senior Applied Scientist at Microsoft, working on understanding how AI systems contribute to workplace productivity and values. I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering from the University of Washington, working with Katharina Reinecke. I am excited about research directions related to augmenting human-AI interaction design, measuring users’ overreliance on AI, and anticipating AI failure modes before deployment.
My research was supported by IBM PhD Fellowship. My work has been recognized by leading media outlets (e.g., GeekWire, VentureBeat, Tech Times), multiple doctoral grants, and best paper awards, and has led to academic publications such as CHI, ACL, FAccT, VIS, TOCHI, IUI, and ECCV.
Fun: I cook, ski, or hike. I used to do mock trial, triple jump and run track and field in college.
If you are interested in collaborating or PhD application, please feel free to reach out.
